Lothir smirked. "Why, even with that charming, young thing standing over there with them? Aren't you one of the lucky ones to be set up with such a looker?" He shot him a grin.

"I would never be as foolish to mess with someone as rugged as yourself." He replied, a twinkle in his eye, as he grinned at him. "Ah." His attention turned unto a delicate-looking faerie who came fluttering towards them with a drinkin both her hands. "'Tis my lady Galaden." He said in his usual mocking, yet playful tone. "Lady Galaden, this be Master Aergol." He took his drink from her with a grin of gratitude, as Galaden muttered a quiet 'hello'.

Aergol nodded to her, not unkindly "Nice to meet you"

"We were just discussing how rugged and manly Aergol is." Lothir laughed. "Oh dear, did you heard Saeliril's speech? I thought I had died half way through it was so boring."

Lothir burst out laughing. "Nice metaphor." He grinned. "I won't ask how you came to find priests were fiddly though."

Lothir gave him an unsure smile. "Oh well, maybe next time you can ask Galaden here to make you a special clip-on bowtie." He clapped an arm around her shoulders and she blushed, she hated being brought into a conversation. "She's rather a good seamstress you know."

"I...I suppose..." Came her small reply.
Lothir laughed. "She's being modest. Bless her." And Galaden blushed redder then before.

"Hey your face has gone bright-" Aergol was cut off by the sound of trees being snapped in half, and the screams of faeries. Spinning round he saw the hulking mass of a troll pushing through the trees. With a bellow, the beast charged forward, swinging a wooden club the length of its arm and twice as wide

Galaden froze on the spot and Lothir had to pull her out of the way to avoid the blow. "How the hell did that get in here?" He cried.

"I dont know, i was told there were ways to prevent this!" Aergol shouted over another bloodcurdling bellow. Wings fluttering madly he gave his own savage cry and lunged at the creatures eyes, missing them as the troll moved, instead scratching at its bushy eyebrows

Not too far away, Arn had taken flight and was trying to attack the beast's head along with several other faeries. However, a majority of the guards were being used to protect the civilians, and their attack attempts weren't doing much.
